Football Equipment
Each football player will need to have the following equipment to participate in the 2010 Football Season
 

Football registration will include a game jersey, fundraising fee (most of which goes back to your team budget for trophies, parties, etc.), and concession fee (covers the cost of workers to run concessions). Please note that each team is asked to provide gate assistance during the season.

 

Your son will also need the following:  

Football Helmet – Black Regulation youth football helmet with facemask(White for Lanier).   
  Football Shoulder Pads – Regulation Youth Shoulder Pads.   Generally are sized according to weight.   Most can be found at local sporting goods stores.    

Football Cleats - Depending upon where you buy them and what you buy they can be from $35 and up.

Practice Pants - He only has to have one pair but most players have two so that they can keep them relatively clean.  Cost should be about $18-$20.
Game Pants - Coordinated by team manager during first week of practice.  All game pants are ordered as a team.  Cost is usually $35 - $47. (Do not try to purchase before season starts)

Mouth Piece – Mouth Piece must be a non clear mouthpiece which attaches to the facemask.   These can cost from $2 & up depending upon what you buy.

Chin Strap - They can be from $15 -$40 depending upon what you buy.

Practice Jersey -$10 - $15 on up (depending upon where and what you purchase)

  He may also need the following:

Game socks - some teams want everyone in the same type of socks but that's up to the coach.

Additional protective equipment - forearm pads, receivers gloves, neck rolls, etc...This equipment can very in price from $15 on up depending upon what you buy.

Athletic Cup – although this is not required it is highly recommended that each player wear an athletic supporter for safety.
